Meanwhile, George has problems of his own fighting to make ends meet as a Jewish refugee in a city under the hostilities of war. Everything changes when Maggie and George are picked up by wealthy nightclub owner Sir Frank. Soon 'Miss Nightingale' explodes onto the stage - shocking society with her outrageous outfits and saucy songs. She takes the West End by storm.
