Natalie Casey is set to star in Rose Theatre Kingston's upcoming revival of Stephen Jeffreys' play Valued Friends opening next month.

Directed by Michael Fentiman, the play is set in 1980s London where four housemates of 10 years in their mid-30s are offered a substantial amount of money to move out from their home by a young property developer.

Casey will be joined in the production by Ralph Davis, Sam Frenchum, Michael Marcus, Catrin Stewart and Nicolas Tennant.

Valued Friends will run at the Rose Theatre Kingston from 20th September to 12th October 2019, with a press night on 26th September.

Jeffrey's play was first performed at the Hampstead Theatre in 1989, for which he was awarded the Evening Standard and Critics' Circle Awards for Most Promising Playwright.

The creative team of the play includes set designer Michael Taylor, costume designer Madeleine Girling, lighting designer Nic Farman, sound designer Richard Hammarton and casting director Serena Hill.

Valued Friends is at the Rose Theatre Kingston from 20th September.
