New ‘Matilda’ cast announced, as Roald Dahl musical celebrates 10th anniversary in London
Matilda reopens at the Cambridge Theatre in September.
The new cast for Matilda the Musical in London has been announced, ahead of reopening at the Cambridge Theatre from 16 September. Matilda the Musical will celebrate its 10th anniversary in the West End later this year, with Matilda the Musical tickets on sale now.
An extended booking period for Matilda has also been announced. Matilda is now at the Cambridge Theatre, with performances scheduled to 22 May 2022.
The role of Matilda will be shared by Imogen Cole, Alyssa D'Souza, Alex Munden and Zoe Simon. Elliot Harper returns to Matilda to play Miss Trunchbull, with Carly Thoms taking over the role of Miss Honey from Gina Beck. Carly Thoms has previously played Miss Honey in a national tour of Matilda.
Sebastien Torkia will play Mr Wormwood, with Annette McLaughlin as Mrs Wormwood. The adult company is completed by Landi Oshinowo as Mrs Phelps, Matt Krzan as Rudolpho, Connor Lewis as Michael Wormwood, Liberty Buckland, Georgia Carling, Roger Dipper, Katrina Dix, Kate Kenrick, Ben Kerr, Tom Mather, Bryan Mottram, Kane Oliver Parry, Ryan Pidgen, James Revell, Gemma Scholes and Dawn Williams.
The children's cast is completed by Hari Aggarwal, Thommy Bailey Vine, Kieron Bell, Tom Bonomini, Kaspar Cahill-Ritter, Sienna Clarke, Drew Edwards, Robyn Elwell, Rory Finnegan, Rosie Gell-Marquez, Beth Gilmour, Louie Gray, Gracie Hodson-Prior, Darcy Kelly, Ben Lee, Keanna-Skye O'Quinn, Nicholas Parris, Bella Perdoni, Chancé Quaye, Scarlett Jayne Rackham, Bren Reilly, Niamh Ritchie, Jacob Savva, Jayden Seder and Alex Stockton.
Based on the Roald Dahl novel of the same name, Matilda the Musical follows the titular child as she tries to save the day at her school, using her powers for good.
