Norma Jeane the Musical at Ye Olde Rose and Crown

Karen Struel-White Productions will present Norma Jeane - the Musical, at Ye Olde Rose and Crown pub theatre in Walthamstow, north east London from 2 to 22 March 2015.

Written by Belvedere Pashun, this has been described as an "original work inspired by real life events experienced by Marilyn Monroe in February 1961. The story relates the mental and physical space endured by Marilyn during this period - a time which become filled with ghosts from her troubled past."

The production will be directed by Christopher Swann and feature original songs from a selection of new and established songwriters.

The cast for the production includes Melissa Suffied as Marilyn Monroe, Roberta Mair as Young Norma, Chris Edgerley as Dr McCarthy, Rebecca Cole as Norma Jeane, alongside Rosey Fordham, Jordan Struel-White, Maggie Robson, Amanda Swift, and Randy Smartnick.
