Images have been released showing Sienna Miller and Jack O'Connell in rehearsals for the Young Vic production of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, which opens at the Apollo Theatre later this month. 

Miller plays Maggie alongside O'Connell, who plays Maggie's husband Brick. The play is set on an estate in Mississippi where Brick's family are meeting for a gathering. Tennessee Williams won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama with the play in 1955, after it premiered in New York. 

The cast for Benedict Andrews' production will also feature Colm Meaney (Big Daddy), Lisa Palfrey (Big Mama), Hayley Squires (Mae), Brian Gleeson (Gooper), Richard Hansel (Doctor) and Michael J Shannon (Reverend).

The play first opened in London in 1958 starring  Kim Stanley, Paul Massie and Leo McKern and was revived at the National Theatre in 1988 directed by Howard Davies. 

Sienna Miller's stage credits include As You Like it (Wyndham's Theatre) and Flare Path (Haymarket) in London's West End and After Miss Julie and Cabaret on Broadway.

Jack O'Connell first found fame on the E4 series 'Skins' followed by the film 'This is England'. He won the 2015 BAFTA Rising Star Award following roles in '71' and 'Unbroken'.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof tickets are on sale now. The production runs at hte Apollo Victoria from 13 July to 7 October.
