Rehearsal images of Hayley Atwell in Dry Powder at the Hampstead Theatre

Images of Hayley Atwell in rehearsals for Sarah Burgess' play Dry Powder, which is set to run at the Hampstead Theatre, have been released.

Dry Powder is about a firm forced to lay-off employees from a supermarket chain, but one of the firm's partners, Rick, throws an extravagant engagement party, raising questions in the media. Seth, a second partner, sees an opportunity to spin the story and save face whereas another partner, Jenny has other ideas.

Atwell, best known for her roles in Black Mirror, Pillars of the Earth and her Olivier-nominated performance in A View from the Bridge, plays Jenny, alongside Aidan McArdle (Rick) and Tom Riley (Seth).

The play was first seen in New York starring Claire Danes, John Krasinski and Hank Azaria, and gets its UK premiere at Hampstead from 26th January to 3rd March, with an official opening night on 1st February.

Anna Ledwich directs the cast which also features Joseph Balderrama.

Dry Powder is at the Hampstead Theatre from 26th January to 3rd March.
