"Friends" TV star Matthew Perry is to star opposite Minnie Driver in David Mamet's Sexual Perversity In Chicago , which opens at the Comedy Theatre 14 May 03, following previews from the 3 May 03, and booking to 2 Aug 03.

Matthew Perry, making his West End stage debut, is best known as the sardonic Chandler Bing in the hit US TV comedy "Friends"

Hollywood British star Minnie Driver will be making her West End debut. Her film credits include "Good Will Hunting", and " An Ideal Husband".

Also joining the cast is Hank Azaria who is best known for providing a variety of voices for the TV cartoon show "The Simpsons".

Directed by Lindsay Posner, this 1974 one-act play concerns two young men, Bernie and Danny, and two young women, Bernie has a lot of sex, or so he says. So why does he begrudge his pal Dan having sex with Deb, a girl he met in a library? Why does Joan, Deb's flatmate, disapprove of her friend's apparent happiness? When the lovers try to have a proper relationship, why is it not everything they dreamed of? Could it be that sex isn't everything?
