Sordid Lives by Del Shores at the Bridewell Theatre 22 Sep

Tower Theatre Company presents the black comedy Sordid Lives, by Del Shores, at the Bridewell Theatre, in the city of London, from 22 to 25 Sep 2010.

The production was first staged at the Bridewell last November and is being performed at the EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL 15-21 August at C Venue (Venue 34).

Directed by Allan Stronach , designed by Jo Staples, lighting by Stephen Ley, sound by Peta Barker.

Peggy's dead, killed after tripping over her lover's wooden legs in a seedy motel room. The funeral promises to be an ordeal, so a bad time for her sister to quit smoking. Her daughters won't quit fighting and her grandson won't quit being gay. Meanwhile, her son's been institutionalised, due to a severe case of homosexuality - will he get out in time to be the best-dressed woman at the church?
