Steam Industry Free Theatre return with their 8th annual season of free theatre in the Scoop at More London Greek-style amphitheatre on the south bank of the Thames, between London Bridge and Tower Bridge next to City Hall, from 5 August - 5 September, 2010.
Two shows are performed for free TOAD HALL! at 6pm and DON JUAN IN LOVE at 8pm, with performances on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Directed by Phil Willmott, both shows are performed by the same actors and you can see both shows every night. No need to book - just turn up and take a seat! There's room for 1000 people at each performance. And the actors perform in almost any weather.
TOAD HALL Adapted from events in Kenneth Grahame's 'The Wind in the Willows' by Steam Industry Free Theatre and the young people of Southwark. Can the fun loving, attention seeking Mr Toad ever be persuaded to take life seriously?
