Stephen Fry cast as Malvolio in Twelfth Night at Globe

Stephen Fry has beeen cast as 'Malvolio ' in Twelfth Night, by William Shakespeare, at the Shakespeare's Globe from 22 Sep to 14 Oct 2012.

He joins previously mentioned Mark Rylance (Olivia), Samuel Barnett (Sebastian), Johnny Flynn (Viola).

It is also announced that Liam Brennan and Peter Hamilton Dyer are reprising their 2002 Globe roles as Orsino and Feste. Colin Hurley, will play Sir Toby Belch.

Stephen Fry played the lead in the film Wilde, was Melchett in the BBC television series Blackadder, starred as the title character Peter Kingdom in the ITV series Kingdom. He has also written and presented several documentary series including the 2008 television series Stephen Fry in America, which saw him travelling across all 50 U.S. states. Since 2003 he has been the host of the quiz show QI.

Twelfth Night is directed by Tim Carroll and designed by Jenny Tiramani.

Shakespeare's comedy of gender confusion, in which a girl disguises herself as a man to be near the count she adores, only to be pursued by the woman he loves.
