Frantic Assembly and Theatre Royal Plymouth, in association with Curve theatre, Leicester present The Believers by Bryony Lavery, at the Tricycle Theatre, a fringe venue in Kilburn, north west London, from 22 Apr to 17 May 2014.
The Believers is a new play and will be touring the UK from 21 Feb 2014 prior to ending its run at the Tricycle Theatre.
Directed and choreographed by Scott Graham, designed by Jon Bausor, lighting by Andy Purves and sound by Carolyn Downing.
Two families are flung together on a night of cataclysmic weather. Bruised, tired and seduced by the flow of alcohol, they wrestle with their differences until, suddenly, the unthinkable happens. As their versions of what happened begin to fall apart and their perspectives become clouded by suspicion, they turn on each other in a desperate fight to understand the truth.
