The Comedy About a Bank Robbery - Criterion

Kenny Wax Ltd and Stage Presence Ltd will present a new Mischief Theatre production, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, which will run at the Criterion Theatre in London's West End from 31 March 2016 with an official opening on 12 April 2016 where it is currently booking to 26 June 2016.

The comedy comes from the team behind the West End productions of The Play That Goes Wrong which is currently running at the Duchess Theatre, and Peter Pan Goes Wrong which is about to officially open at the Apollo Theatre.

"One enormous diamond, Eight incompetent crooks and a snoozing security guard. What could possibly go right?"

The comedy has been created by Mischief Theatre and is written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields. It will be directed by Mark Bell and members of the Mischief Theatre Company and feature designs by David Farley and costume design by Roberto Surace.

Mischief Theatre is a comedy theatre company based in London, first formed in 2008 by a group of graduates and students of The London Academy of Music & Art. Since forming the company has created and presented a number of productions across the UK and in Europe including The Play That Goes Wrong (Oliver Award for Best New Comedy) and Peter Pan Goes Wrong (Apollo Theatre). The company is led by Artistic Director Henry Lewis and Company Director Jonathan Sayer. 

Tickets for the production go on general sale on Monday 7 December 2015.
