The Duchess of Malfi by Eyestrings Theatre at White Bear

Eyestrings Theatre presents The Duchess of Malfi, by John Webster at White Bear Theatre, a fringe venue in Kennington, south London, from 11 to 30 Sep 2012.

A new stripped back vision. A woman pays the price for daring to transgress her social status. A powerful family is destroyed by passion, envy and cruelty. With just seven actors, six chairs and a gramophone Eyestrings Theatre confront the themes of morality, class and sex head on.
