Out of Chaos and Yellow Earth Theatre presents The Flying Roast Goose at the Blue Elephant Theatre in Camberwell, south London from 3 - 21 June 2014.

This will mark the first full-length production by Out of Chaos - a theatre company who are dedicated to telling stories inspired by East Asia, in particularly Hong Kong and China. It is an original work that has been conceived by Artistic Director Paula Siu and devised by members of the Company.

The piece is described as "A stir-fry of war-torn Hong Kong" and is set in Hong Kong during the Japanese occupation in the 1940s. The story is told through the eyes of a Cantonese chef and her pet goose, using puppetry, physical theatre and object manipulation.

The cast includes: Jane Crawshaw, Kristoffer Huball, and Paula Siu. It is directed by David Ralfe, with puppets, set and costumes by Oliver Smart and Nerea Villares of Folded Feather. It features lighting design by Katherine Graham and sound design by Jon McLeod.
