The Alchemic Order have announced a return to London for their production of The Picture of Dorian Gray: a Restoration, a site specific performance at The House of Orange Townhouse in Greenwich, south East London, from 10 September to 23 December 2015.

The production is directed by Samuel Orange, and adapted from the original novel by Oscar Wilde. Audiences act as guests at Mr. Gray's townhouse in The Royal Borough of Greenwich, and journey "through time, space and imagination, from aristocratic Victoriana to the decadent underworld of a gothic nightmare and beyond."

This unique theatre experience previously ran at the same venue last year. Audiences are told of the exact location after booking, to protect the secret identity of the house.

Oscar Wilde's novella 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' concerns a vein and selfish protagonist who trades in his soul in order to not age. Whilst his physical body shows no sign of ageing, his portrait which is kept in the attic develops instead. The short story has been adapted into countless theatrical mediums including Opera, Musical and Ballet.

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
