It has been confirmed that The Price by Arthur Miller will open at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Ave on 11 Sep 03, following previews from 9 Sep, and booking to 17 Jan 04

This production, which had a run at the Tricycle Theatre last year, will return to the Tricycle from 13 Aug to 6 Sep 03 before transferring to the West End on 9 Sep 03.

Directed by Sean Holmes, the play features Warren Mitchell, Larry Lamb, Des McAleer, Sian Thomas.

Warren Mitchell is best known as the outspokenly right-wing pensioner Alf Garnett in the BBC sitcom "Till Death Us Do Part" .

Larry Lamb's London stage credits include "Nine" at the Donmar Warehouse in 1997; "Anna Weiss" at the Whitehall in 1999; and "Hamlet" at the Barbican Theatre in 2001 and "Prisoner's Dilemma" at the Barbican Pit in 2002 both for the RSC.

Des McAleer's London stage credits include "The Rivals" at the Barbican Theatre in 2000, and "Romeo & Juliet" at the Barbican Theatre in 2001, both for the RSC.

Sian Thomas' London stage credits include "A Delicate Balance" at the Haymarket in 1997; "Richard III" for the RSC at the Savoy in 1999; "Sleep With Me" at the Cottesloe, NT in 1999; "House And Garden" at the Lyttelton, NT in 2000; "Feelgood" at the Garrick in 2001; "Up For Grabs" at the Wyndham's in 2002;

Soloman is a 90-year-old furniture dealer looking for a bargain. He engages his clients by forcing them into long-winded philosophical discussions. When he finds himself in the middle of an uneasy tension between two long estranged brothers, it seems he might have met his match.....
