The White Carnation transfers to Jermyn Street Theatre

R. C. Sherriff's The White Carnation, which is currently enjoying a sold out run at the Finborough Theatre, will transfer to the Jermyn Street Theatre, a 70-seat Off West End venue in Piccadilly, from 4 Feb to 22 Feb 2014.

Directed by Knight Mantell, design by Alex Marker, lighting by Peter Harrison, costume by Sharna David and Anna Lewis, sound by Lucinda Mason Brown. Most of the cast will transfer from the Finborough Theatre, including Daisy Boulton and Benjamin Whitrow. The play is produced by Troupe in association with Jermyn Street Theatre.

Set in Winter, 1951. As Britain rebuilds itself after the war, John Greenwood has it all - a successful businesss, a beautiful home and an aristocratic wife. But as he bids farewell to the guests leaving his annual house party, a gust of wind slams the front door shut, starting a chain of events that makes him doubt everything he has ever known ...
