Long running West End thriller The Woman in Black has extended its booking at The Fortune Theatre in London where it is now booking to 3 March 2018.

Stephen Mallatratt's adaptation of Susan Hill's best-selling novel is currently celebrating its 27th anniversary in the West End, having originally opened in London on 7 June 1989.

Casting for the London production of The Woman in Black currently includes Stuart Fox in the role of Arthur Kipps alongside Joseph Chance as The Actor.

The Woman in Black tells the story of a lawyer obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a 'Woman in Black'. He engages a young actor to help him tell his story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul. It begins innocently enough, but as they delve further into his darkest memories, they find themselves caught up in a world of eerie marshes and moaning winds. The borders between make believe and reality begin to blur and the flesh begins to creep.

Directed by Robin Hereford it features design by Michael Holt, lighting by Kevin Sleep, sound design by Ron Mead and Gareth Owen. It is produced in the West End by PW Productions.

The Woman in Black tickets are now on sale to 3 March 2018.
