Thriller Live extends booking at the Lyric Theatre in London's West End

The long-running West End musical extends booking.

The long-running West End musical Thriller Live has announced that it has extended its booking period at the Lyric Theatre to 1 April 2018.

This new 12-month booking period will take the show into its ninth year in London. After originally opening at the Lyric Theatre in January 2009, last night (Wednesday 14 March) it celebrated its 3,403 performance. On 26 March 2017 it will become the 9th longest running show - musical or play - in the West End and it has now been seen by over 4.2 million people in 33 countries, playing over 5,400 performances worldwide.

The production features favourite Jackson songs delivered by a super-talented cast and band, including the smash hits: "I Want You Back", "I'll Be There", "Show You The Way To Go", "Can You Feel It", "Rock With You", "She's Out Of My Life", "Beat It", "Billie Jean", "Earth Song", "Thriller" and many more.

The current company of Thriller Live features Angelica Allen, Dajiow, Haydon Eshun, Alex Ko, John Moabi, Stefan Sinclair, Cordell Mostellar, Reece Bahia, Ione Townsend, Aisling Duffy, Florivaldo Mossi, Leslie Bowman, Ebony Clarke, Ella Coghill, Jamal Crawford, Victoria Lamm, Arnold Mabhena, Ashley-Jordon Packer, Helen Parsons, Jacinta Seivers, Steven Thompson, Tom Remaili, Sophie Usher, Aled Arhyel Charles, Roshawn Hewitt, Marcellus Virgo-Smith, Eshan Gopal and Daniel Odejinmi.

They are enjoyed by a band that includes Musical Supervisor, Keyboard 2 & Guitar 2 John Maher, Assistant MD / Keys 1 Ryan Alex Farmery, Damien Cooper, Oliver Latka, Mike Bradley and Accy Yeats.

Directed and choreographed by Gary Lloyd it features set design by Jonathan Park, lighting by Nigel Catmur, video design by Colin Rozee and Potion Pictures and sound design by Chris Whybrow.

It is produced in London by Paul Walden and Derek Nicol for Flying Music in association with Adrian Grant for Key Concerts.

Thriller Live tickets are now on sale to 1 April 2018.
