Tina the Musical extends booking period in the West End

The booking period for Tina the Musical at the Aldwych Theatre has been extended, with performances scheduled until 21st December 2019.  

It has also been announced that Adrienne Warren and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith will continue in the roles of Tina Turner and Ike Turner until 13th April 2019.

The cast is completed by Madeline Appiah, Lorna Gale, Tom Godwin, Francesca Jackson, Aisha Jawando, Natey Jones, Gerard McCarthy, Ryan O'Donnell, Tsemaye Bob-Egbe, Perola Congo, Keisher Downie, Kit Esuruoso, Jammy Kasongo, Sia Kiwa, Jason Langley, Kayleigh McKnight and Baker Mukasa.

The extended booking period for Tina the Musical will go on sale from 12 noon on 25th January.

The show made its world premiere at the Aldwych Theatre in 2018, presenting the life story of Tina Turner. From her childhood in Nutbush, Tennessee, audiences are taken on a whistlestop journey through the performer's life, revealing the high and lows she faced in and out of the public eye.   

Producers have also confirmed that there will be an original cast recording of Tina the Musical, with details yet to be released.

Tina the Musical will also make its Broadway premiere later in the year. A venue, cast and dates yet for the Broadway transfer are yet to be announced.

Tina the Musical is booking at the Aldwych Theatre until 21st December 2019, with tickets for the new booking period available from 12noon on 25th January.
