Top Hat gets West End premiere at the Aldwych Theatre.

The musical Top Hat, with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, adapted for the stage by Matthew White and Howard Jacques receives its west end premire at the Aldwych Theatre, opening 9 May 2012, following previews from 19 Apr 2012 and booking to 26 Jan 2013.

Directed by Matthew White, designed by Hildegard Bechtler, lighting by Peter Mumford, choreography by Bill Deamer, musical direction by Daniel Jackson, costumes by Jon Morrell, produced by Kenny Wax, Stewart Lane and Bonnie Comley, Ted Hartley, Flora Suk-Hwa Yoon and Lee Menzies.

Cast includes Tom Chambers (Jerry Travers), Summer Strallen (Dale Tremont), Martin Ball (Horace Hardwick) Vivien Parry (Madge Hardwick), Ricardo Afonso (Alberto Beddini), Stephen Boswell (Bates).

Jerry Travers, the famous American tap dancer, arrives in London to appear in his first West End show. Travers meets the irresistible Dale Tremont, the girl of his dreams, and follows her across Europe in an attempt to win her heart.
