Video – Douglas Booth, Clifford Samuel, Ken Urban and Jonathan O’Boyle talk Guide for the Homesick
Ahead of the West End opening of A Guide for the Homesick, the play by American playwright Ken Urban which gets its European premiere tonight, we caught up the writer, actors Douglas Booth and Clifford Samuel, and director Jonathan O'Boyle in rehearsals.
The play follows the conversations between two men who meet at an airport bar in Amsterdam, who continue to converse at their airport hotel. One is very comfortable in his sexuality, while another is just finding out who he really is.
A Guide for the Homesick premiered in the Boston in April 2017, and will star Booth, who was last seen on stage in Speech and Debate at Trafalgar Studios, and Samuel, who starred in Statement of Regret at the National Theatre.
A Guide for the Homesick opens at Trafalgar Studios on 18th October, and will run until 24th November
