Video: Na-Young Jeon and Dean-John Wilson talk The King and I
Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I has returned to its rightful London home in the West End as it makes a glorious return to the London Palladium for the third time since its premiere in 1956.
This latest Broadway revival to make it across the pond is directed by Bartlett Sher, and with him he's brought the Tony-winning Kelli O'Hara as Anna Leonowens, an English teacher hired to modernise Siam by the country's King, played by the Tony-nominated Ken Watanabe.
Within that plot lies a blossoming romance between the young lovers, Tuptim and Lun Tha, played by Na-Young Jeon and Dean-John Wilson. We sat down with the actors to discuss their roles in this classic musical.
The King and I is at the London Palladium until 29th September.
The King and I tickets are available now.
