YASMINA REZA'S "LIFE x 3" RETURNS TO LONDON 25TH SEP 02

YASMINA REZA'S "LIFE x 3" RETURNS TO LONDON 25TH SEP 02

Yasmina Reza's Life x 3 is returning to London. The show will be at the Savoy Theatre from 25th Sep 02 and booking to 7th Dec 02 . (Booking is now open!!)

Life x 3 premiered at the Lyttelton Theatre, NT on 7th December 2000, before transferring to the Old Vic Theatre on 12th February 2001 where it ran for 3 months to 5th May 01 with cast Mark Rylance, Imelda Staunton, Harriet Walter, Oliver Cotton.

The show is currently touring with Belinda Lang, David Haig, Serena Evans and David Yelland . (It is not confirmed if this cast will transfer to the West End with the show)

Yasmina Reza's play is translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Matthew Warchus, with design by Mark Thompson, lighting by Hugh Vanstone. (The same team who worked on Reza's other West End hits "Art" and "The Unexpected Man".)

Their fractious six-year-old finally in bed, Henri and Sonia are relaxing with a drink when the doorbell rings unexpectedly.... At the door is Henri's boss, Hubert, and his wife - who have arrived a day early for a dinner party... An important dinner party that Henri had carefully planned to impress Hubert in an attempt to save his flagging career... That was to be tomorrow. Tonight, however, there is nothing at all to eat in the house - apart from some Cheesy Wotsits. So the evening looks set to be as much of a disaster as Henri's job prospects.....unless events can take a different turn. Or two.....
