Arinzé Kene’s Misty transfers to Trafalgar Studios

Arinzé Kene’s hit play Misty is set to transfer to Trafalgar Studios following a sell-out premiere run at the Bush Theatre earlier this year.

Kene has previously been seen in the Old Vic production of the Bob Dylan musical Girl from the North Country, and One Night in Miami at the Donmar Warehouse, while his writing credits include good dog and God’s Property.

A blend of gig theatre, spoken art and direct address, the piece is described as a lyrical journey ‘through the pulsating heart and underground soul of inner city London’.

Misty will transfer to Trafalgar Studios from 8th September to 20th October, with tickets on sale today.

It opened at the Shepherd’s Bush venue in March this year to positive reviews, including from Time Out (★★★★) who described it as ‘Inventive, subversive, slightly surreal’, and the Evening Standard (★★★★) who said it was ‘compelling and innovative work’.

Misty is at Trafalgar Studios from 8th September to 20th October.

Misty tickets will be available today.
