"ART" NOW BOOKING TO 4TH JAN 03

Art is now taking bookings to 4th Jan 2003 at the Whitehall Theatre.

Art by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, opened in London at Wyndham's Theatre on 15th Oct 1996 starring Albert Finney, Tom Courtenay and Ken Stott, and won both the Evening Standard Drama Award and the Laurence Olivier Award for 'Best Comedy'.

The show transferred to the Whitehall Theatre in October 2001.

The play is directed by Matthew Warchus (Re-directed by Rachel Kavanaugh) . It is designed by Mark Thompson and produced by David Pugh Limited and Sean Connery.

Stephen McGann, Jamie Theakson and Christopher Luscombe are currently starring as 'Marc' 'Serge' and 'Yvan'

The story concerns the relationship between three friends that is turned upon its head when one of them purchases a work of modern art.
