CASTING UPDATE FOR VAGINA MONOLOGUES

Casting news concerning The Vagina Monologues.

Melanie B, expected to join the cast from 26th Feb 02, and Naomi Campbell expected to join the cast from 25th Mar 02.

The show is currently playing at the Arts Theatre until 23rd Feb 02. It will transfer back to The New Ambassadors Theatre from 26th Feb 02.

Melanie B, is best known as SCARY SPICE from pop group The Spice Girls.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell was the first black model to appear on the covers of TIME MAGAZINE, and French and British VOGUE. In 1995, she made her debut as a recording artist with "Babywoman" released by Epic Records. Naomi Campbell's film work includes "Girl 6", "Miami Rhapsody" and "Invasion of Privacy." Her television credits include "NY Undercover" and 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air" .

The Vagina Monologues is written by Eve Ensler, designed by Bunny Christie with lighting by Chris Davey.

Based on interviews with a diverse group of women - from a Long Island antique dealer to a Bosnian refugee - the play brazenly explores the humour, power, pain, wisdom, outrage, mystery and excitement hidden in vaginas.
