Changing State debuts at the Hen and Chickens Theatre
New Slang Productions will present the premiere of Tian Glasgow's play Changing State at the Hen and Chickens Theatre in Islington, north London, from 3 to 14 February 2015 with an official opening on 5 February 2015.
The drama is described as a darkly comic coming-of-age story set in inner city London. Three of the characters cling to the hope that the uncertainty and confusion of adolescence will clear but having returned from university one of them knows that it is a long road. As they each try to realise their ambitions, they must confront that mistakes big and small are the only way forward.
The cast for the production includes Michael Robinson, Kirsten Moore, Belinda Fenty and Ashden Oke.
This will be New Slang Productions' second stylised performance piece following 'Silver Shores' staged in the Tristan Bates Theatre in Covent Garden in 2012.
