Ahead of a summer concert series at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, find out the latest casting for all shows. Chess, Kinky Boots and Treason will all be performed at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on select dates in August.

Trevor McDonald will provide the pre-recorded voice of the Newscaster in Chess. The Cold War-themed musical will star Samantha Barks as Florence, Hadley Fraser as Anatoly, Joel Harper-Jackson as Freddie, and Frances Mayli McCann as Svetlana. Chess is at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 1 and 2 August. Book Chess tickets on London Theatre.

Joel Harper-Jackson will continue in the summer concerts, as he takes over the role of Charlie Price in Kinky Boots from Matt Willis. Harper-Jackson previously played the shoe factory owner Charlie in the 2019 Kinky Boots tour.

“I’m so chuffed to step back into the role of Charlie Price for the concerts at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane this August,” said Harper-Jackson. “I was already honoured to be appearing in Chess, however getting the chance to revisit Charlie again in Kinky Boots is really exciting as it’s a show I hold very close to my heart and I can’t wait to dust off my heels!”

Cedric Neal and Courtney Bowman also star in the Kinky Boots concerts. Kinky Boots is at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 8 and 9 August. Book Kinky Boots tickets on London Theatre.

Treason rounds off the concert series, with performances on 22 and 23 August. The Gunpowder Plot musical explores what happened to Guy Fawkes as he attempted to blow up Parliament. Debris Stevenson joins the Treason cast as the show’s narrator. Carrie Hope Fletcher, Bradley Jaden, and Simon-Anthony Rhoden star. Book Treason tickets on London Theatre.
