‘Fiver’ concert to be livestreamed at Southwark Playhouse

Three performances will be available to watch online later this month.

First performed at Southwark Playhouse in 2019, Fiver will return to the off-West End venue in concert form this month. Concerts of Fiver will be livestreamed on 27 and 28 November, including an exclusive performance of a song written especially for the concerts.

Named after the colloquial term for a five pound note, the musical follows a five pound note as it passes through the hands of different Londoners. The series of musical vignettes explores the value of money and how people view their financial status.

Fiver is a new musical by Alex James Ellison and Tom Lees, which was performed at Southwark Playhouse from 3 - 20 Jul. 2019. The 2019 cast starred Luke Bayer, Dan Buckley, Aoife Clesham, Hiba Elchikhe and Ellison.

Other livestreams broadcast from Southwark Playhouse include The Poltergeist and a series of December productions.
