Glass Half Full Productions and The Go People will present a new version of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream with just seven actors at the Southwark Playhouse from 31 May to 1 July 2016, with an official opening on 6 June 2016.

The cast is led by Freddie Fox, whose West End credits include 'The Judas Kiss' and 'Hay Fever', and Maddy Hill, best known for her role of Nancy Carter in EastEnders and winner of the National Television Award for Most Popular Newcomer.

They will be joined by Lucy Eaton (Helena / Starveling), Freddie Hutchins (Lysander / Flute), Melanie Fullbrook (Puck), Suzie Preece (Hermia / Snug) and Ludovic Hughes (Oberon / Theseus).

This 90 minute version of Shakespeare's popular comedy will be performed not by the usual 17 actors but instead a troupe of 7 - promising something altogether different, and full of surprises.

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
