The full cast joining Sharon D Clarke in the Tony Kushner musical Caroline, Or Change has been announced ahead of its run at the Hampstead Theatre in March.

Clarke reprises the role of Caroline Thibodeaux, a black maid idolised by eight-year old Noah who is left heartbroken by the death of his mother and remarriage of his father. Michael Longhurst's production first ran at Chichester Festival Theatre in 2017.

Joining Clarke at the Hampstead Theatre will be: Naana Agyei-Ampuda (Dotty Moffett), Alastair Brookshaw (Stuart Gellman), Angela Caesar (The Moon), Me'sha Bryan (The Washing Machine), Sue Kelvin (Grandma Gellman), Teddy Kempner (Mr. Stopnick), Ako Mitchell (The Dryer/The Bus), Abiona Omonua (Emmie Thibodeaux), Vincent Pirillo (Grandpa Gellman), Carole Stennett (Radio 3), Sharon Rose (Radio 2), Lauren Ward (Rose Stopnick Gellman), T'Shan Williams (Radio 1).

The roles of Noah will be shared by Charlie Gallacher and Aaron Gelkoff, Jackie will be played by Kenyah Sandy and Mickell Stewart-Grimes, and Josiah Choto and David Dube will share the role of Joe.

Longhurst's production has designs by Fly Davis, choreography by Ann Yee, lighting by Jack Knowles and sound by Paul Arditty.

Caroline, Or Change is at Hampstead Theatre from 12th March to 21st April, with an official opening on 19th March.
