Graham Norton joins the cast of La cage Aux Folles , at the Playhouse Theatre on 19th Jan 2009 as Albin, and at the same time Steven Pacey joins cast as George. (both replacing Douglas Hodge & Denis Lawson)

The show has also extended 3 months to 25 April 2009.

Graham Norton is one of the best known presenters on British television, Graham Norton is currently hosting the latest series of his BBC2 chat show The Graham Norton Show. He recently fronted reality TV talent show I'd Do Anything for BBC1. Previous television work includes Channel 4 chat shows So Graham Norton and V Graham Norton and BBC programmes Strictly Dance Fever, The Bigger Picture, How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and Any Dream Will Do.

Steven Pacey London stage credits include "A Midsummer Night's Dream" & "The Boyfriend" at the Open Air in 2006; "The Old Masters" at the Comedy in 2004; "Democracy" at the Cottesloe, NT in 2003 & Lyttelton, NT 2004; "The Constant Wife" at the Apollo & Lyric in 2002; "The Birthday Party" at the Piccadilly in 1999; " Things We Do For Love" at the Gielgud in 1998; "By Jeeves" at the Duke of York's & Lyric in 1996.

The Menier Chocolate Factory production of La cage Aux Folles , opened at the Playhouse Theatre 30 Oct 2008, following previews from 20 Oct, to terrific notices from the popular press: THE GUARDIAN says, "A great musical." THE DAILY MAIL says, " La Cage is a belter of a night out." THE TIMES says, "Suddenly, the West End sparkles." THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, "This is a glorious night of showbiz razzle-dazzle and emotional generosity."

It is directed by Terry Johnson, with choreography by Lynne Page and the musical director is Nigel Lilley. It is designed by Tim Shortall with costumes by Matthew Wright.

The idyllic existence of Georges and the dazzling drag artiste Albin, star of the La Cage aux Folles club, is threatened when Georges’ son announces his engagement to the daughter of a right-wing politician, who wants to close down the local colourful nightlife! With a visit from the prospective in-laws imminent, they all decide to take drastic action to hide their lifestyle...but can they keep it up?
