"Into the Woods" concert perfs Sun 22 Oct 2006

There will be two charity concert performances of Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine, at the Royal Albert Hall, on Sunday 22 Oct 2006 at 3pm & a Royal Gala performance at 7.30pm, in aid of The Children's Society

The concerts will feature major names of stage, music and screen (to be announced) .

Directed by Joe Harmston, produced by Connected Pictures & Paul Savident.

Into the Woods combines classic fairy tales into a story about 'the complications of living in modern society and the difficult choices we encounter on the paths of our lives'. The stories - including Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel - are joined with a new creation; the tale of The Baker and His Wife.
