‘Matilda the Musical’ announces new West End cast from September 2022

Join the new class at Crunchem Hall. A new Matilda West End cast will take over Matilda performances at the Cambridge Theatre from 13 September. Book Matilda the Musical tickets on London Theatre.

Victoria Alsina, Laurel Sumberg and Heidi Williams will join Maisie Mardle in the title role of Matilda.

Lauren Byrne will take over the role of Miss Honey from Carly Thoms. Byrne recently starred in Cinderella at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. Rakesh Boury and Amy Ellen Richardson will join the company as Mr and Mrs Wormwood.

Elliot Harper will continue as Miss Trunchbull and Landi Oshinowo will continue as Mrs Phelps.

The Matilda adult cast includes Felipe Bejarano, Angeline Bell, Oliver Bingham, Liberty Buckland, Thea Bunting, Michael Gardiner, Aaron Jenkins, Kate Kenrick, Sam Lathwood, Connor Lewis, Dianté Lodge, Kira McPherson, Gemma Scholes, Alistair So and James Wolstenholme.

A Matilda musical film adaptation will premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on 5 October, ahead of a cinema release on 2 December.
