The QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY HONOURS LIST 2009 include several actors who have appeared on the London stage in recent years: Lindsay Duncan (CBE), Jonathan Pryce (CBE), Sue Johnston (OBE), Alan Cumming (OBE).

Lindsay Duncan (age 58) London stage credits include "That Face" at the Royal Court & Duke York's in 2007/8; "Private Lives" at the Albery in 2001; Mouth to Mouth" at the Albery in 2001; "The Homecoming" at the Lyttelton, NT in 1997; "Ashes to Ashes" at the Royal Court at Ambassadors in 1996. She has recently been seen on TV as Margaret Thatcher in the BBC play " Margaret" and will soon be appearing in a Doctor Who special as 'Adelaide', an assistant to the Doctor.

Jonathan Pryce (age 62) London stage credits include "Dimetos" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2009; "Glengarry Glen Ross" at the Apollo in 2007; "The Goat or Who is Sylvia?" at the Almeida & Apollo in 20004 ; "My Fair Lady" at the Lyttelton, NT & Drury Lane 2001/02; "Oliver!" at the London Palladium in 1994.

Sue Johnston (age 65) London stage credits include "Small Change" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2008; "The Master Builder" at the Albery in 2003. She is probably best known for playing Sheila Grant on Channel 4's "Brookside", and Barbara Royle in the BBC comedy "The Royle Family".

Alan Cumming (age 44) London stage credits include "Bent" at the Trafalgar Studios 1 in 2006. His other London stage credits include Accidental Death of an Anarchist, for which he won an Olivier for Comedy Performance of the Year, and Sam Mendes’s Donmar Warehouse production of Cabaret, which later transferred to Broadway where he won a Tony Award for his performance. His film credits include Ant Bully, Sweet Land, Spy Kids, X2, Nicholas Nickleby, Titus, Eyes Wide Shut, Emma, Circle of Friends and Disney's TV musical adaptation of Annie.
