Sweet Bird of Youth cast update at Old Vic Theatre

Cast update for Tennessee Williams' Sweet Bird of Youth, which opens at the Old Vic Theatre 12 June 2013, following previews from 1 Jun - running to 31 Aug 2013.

Joining previously mentioned Kim Cattrall (Alexandra Del Lago), are Seth Numrich (Chance Wayne), Owen Roe (Boss Finley), Brid Brennan (Aunt Nonnie), Charles Aitken, Michael Begley, Daniel Betts, Ruari Cannon, Emily De Cosimo, Louise Dylan, Kurt Kansley, Sean McConaghy, Katie Meekison, Bryonie Pritchard, Lucy Robinson, Violet Ryder, Ryan Saunders, Alistair Scott, Anthony Taylor, Joe Townley, John Trindle, David Webber.

Broadway actor Seth Numrich recently starred on Broadway in Golden Boy at Lincoln Center Theater, and as Albert Narracott in the Lincoln Center Theater's production of War Horse. Sweet Bird of Youth at The Old Vic marks Numrich's London stage debut.

Sweet Bird of Youth is directed by Marianne Elliott, designed by Rae Smith, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound by Dan Jones.

A fading Hollywood legend ravaged by the bitterness of failure and despair. Fleeing the disastrous premiere of her comeback film, Alexandra Del Lago travels incognito as The Princess Kosmonopolis seeking refuge in drink, drugs and the arms of Chance Wayne, an idealistic young dreamer turned gigiolo and hellbent on achieving his own movie stardom. A trip to Chance's hometown in a bid to win back his childhood sweetheart sees their relationship of convenience unravel
