Children's show The Gruffalo, a musical adaptation of the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, is at the Criterion Theatre from 19 July to 21 Aug 2005.

Upon meeting a singing and dancing fox, a mustachioed Mexican snake and various other potential predators, the quick-thinking Mouse scares the hungry animals away with tall stories of the huge, terrifying Gruffalo. But what happens when he comes face to face with the very creature he imagined?
