The Judas Kiss transfers to West End's Duke of York's

The Hampstead Theatre production of David Hare's The Judas Kiss , transfers to West End's Duke of York's Theatre, opening 17 Jan 2013, following previews from 9 Jan - running to 6 April 2013.

Directed by Neil Armfield, the full Hampstead company will reprise their roles: Rupert Everett (Oscar Wilde), Freddie Fox ( Lord Alfred Douglas), Cal Macaninch (Robert Ross), Ben Hardy, Kirsty Oswald, Alister Cameron, Tom Colley.

Insight into Oscar Wilde's relationship with Lord Alfred Douglas. Focuses on two critical moments in Wilde's last years - the eve of his arrest at the Cadogan Hotel and a night in Naples after his release from two years imprisonment; The Judas Kiss speculates on the consequences of his self destructive fatalism, betrayal and love without trust.

It is designed by Dale Ferguson , lighting by Rick Fisher, costumes by Sue Blane, sound by Paul Groothuis. Produced by Robert Fox, Theatre Royal Bath Productions, Hampstead Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre.
