The Yalta Game by Brian Friel at New Diorama 20 July

Little Dog Productions presents The Yalta Game, by Brian Friel, based on themes from Chekov's short story The Lady with the Little Dog, at the New Diorama Theatre, near Euston, central London, from 20 to 24 July 2010.

The cast includes Jake Harders, Kirsty Mann.

Directed by Frances Loy, designed by William Reynolds, sound by Fergus Waldron.

In the late summer heat, two strangers play the Yalta Game, indulging in fantasties as sweet diversions from the mundanity of normal life. Based on themes from Chekov's short story The Lady with the Little Dog, Friel explores the loneliness of loveless marriages, the obsession of forbidden love and the blurred lines between fantasy and reality in this one-act play.
