Tickets are now on sale for Absurd Person Singular, by Alan Ayckbourn, which opens at the Garrick Theatre 11 Dec 2007, following previews from 27 Nov - booking to 22 March 2008.
Directed by Alan Strachan, the cast includes Jane Horrocks, Jenny Seagrove, John Gordon Sinclair , David Horovitch , David Bamber, Lia Williams.
Businessman Sidney Hopcroft hopes to impress his bank manager and architect friends by hosting a festive drinks party. But he hadn't counted on his house-proud wife Jane causing comical mayhem. It's a party to be remembered but for all the wrong reasons! More comic chaos ensues at each of the next two Christmas bashes as the other two couples take their turn at playing host. After too many gin-and-tonics and some farcical misunderstandings, it's anyone's guess who will end up on top.

Her film credits include the troubled teenager in Mike Leigh's 1990 film, "Life is Sweet" and the singing heroine in "Little Voice" in 1998. Her recent London stage credits include "Sweet Panic" at the Dule of York's in 2003.
John Gordon Sinclair's West End credits include "The Producers" at the Drury Lane in 2005; "She Loves Me" at the Savoy in 1994, "Filumena" & "Kafka's Dick" at the Piccadilly in 1998, "Sweet Panic" at the Duke of York's in 2003. His film credits include "Gregory's Girl", "Local Hero" and "Erik the Viking".
