Whipping it Up at the New Ambassadors 22 Feb 2007

Steve Thompson's comedy Whipping It Up, which has recently ended a run at the Fringe Venue, The Bush, is to transfer to the West End's New Ambassadors Theatre 22 Feb 2007 - booking to 16 June 2007.

(Tickets go on sale 22 Jan 2007).

The same cast is expected to transfer with the show: Richard Wilson, Robert Bathurst, Lee Ross, Helen Schlesinger, Fiona Glascott, Nick Rowe

It is directed by Terry Johnson , design and costumes by Tim Shortall , lighting by Simon Corder, with sound by Fergus O'Hare.

It's a week before Christmas, and the new Tory government is facing dissent over its latest Bill. With a majority of only three, the Whip's office is out in full force, and they'll stop at nothing to keep the strays in line. But they're in for a long night: boy scouts are rioting in Whitehall, the PM's golfing with the President, five Tory rebels are on the loose and the Chief Whip's playing at Santa - could this be the beginnings of a leadership challenge?
