"WOMAN IN BLACK" EXTENDS TO 30TH NOV 02

The Woman in Black, by Stephen Mallatratt from the novel by Susan Hill, has announced a new 6 month booking period covering performances from 3rd June to 30th Nov 02.

This long running ghost story, which opened at the Fortune theatre in June 1989, is directed by Robin Herford, designed by Michael Holt with lighting by Kevin Sleep. It currently features Christopher Ravenscroft, who is best known as Detective Mike Burden in the TV series "The Ruth Rendell Inspector Wexford Mysteries" from 1987-1992. and Sebastian Harcombe, who starred in "Remembrance Of Things Past" at the National Theatre last year

When a solicitor goes to wind up the affairs of a deceased woman,he learns about her strange reclusive life,while alone in a remote and strange house.Years later , desperate to exorcise the ghosts of the past he recounts his experiences.
