The Young Vic Theatre, have announced their full season to 9 Aug 2003, which includes :

Red Demon, by Hideki Noda, translation and adaptation by Roger Pulvers. British adaptation by Hideki Noda and Matt Wilkinson. Cast includes Simon Gegor, Tamzin Griffin, Marcello Magni, Samantha McDonald, Clive Mendus, Hideki Noda, Ofo Uhiara, Matt Wilkinson.. It is directed by Hideki Noda, designed by Mairiam Buether & Vicki Mortimer, lighting by Rick Fisher. In a land far away, a stranger is washed up near an isolated fishing village. Unable to understand his language or why he looks so different, the villagers decide he is a demon and must be destroyed. Only one woman, also an outcast, befriends him.

It is directed by Josette Bushell-Mingo, designed by Rob Howell, lighting by Paul Anderson , choreography by Paul J Medford. Jesse B Semple is a hardworking man, often down on his luck, with an expensive divorce looming. He has a good woman to love but is tempted by the local siren and even more so by the neighbourhood bar. Life is very complicated!

At the very moment that Peribanez and Casilda seal their marriage vows, the noble lord of their land is carried to their home at death’s door. Casilda revives him and he falls hopelessly in love. He swears to possess her - but underestimates the power of love.

Hobson's Choice, by Harold Brighouse, New adaptation by Tanika Gupta. It is directed by Richard Jones, designed by Ultz , lighting by Matthew Richardson . Widower Hari Hobson has a successful Salford business and three daughters. Durga is the brains behind the operation. When Hobson says that she’s too valuable to lose and should give up all idea of getting married, she takes her fate into her own hands.
