2022 Olivier Awards nominations announced; 'Cabaret' and 'Life of Pi' lead

The 2022 Olivier Awards ceremony will take place on 10 April.

The full list of Olivier Award nominations for 2022 were announced today, 8 March. The nominations were revealed by Dear Evan Hansen’s Sam Tutty and & Juliet’s Miriam-Teak Lee. The pair won Best Actor in a Musical and Best Actress in a Musical at the 2020 Olivier Awards.

Cabaret leads the musical nominations, represented in 11 categories including Best Revival of a Musical. Anything Goes received nine nominations, with Back to the Future: The Musical picking up seven nominations.

For the plays, Life of Pi received nine nominations, including Best New Play. Other plays with multiple nominations include Constellations and The Normal Heart.

This year’s Olivier Awards will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on 10 April. Find out more about the Olivier Awards in London.
