CAST CHANGES IN LES MISERABLES from 2nd July 01

There are a couple of cast changes in Les Miserables, at the Palace Theatre from 2nd July 01. Jody Crosier will take over the role of 'Marius' and Laura-Michelle Kelly the role of 'Eponine'.

Jody Crosier's West End roles include 'Chris' in "Miss Saigon", both 'Martin' and 'Guillaume' in "Martin Guerre" and 'Anton' in "Napoleon".

Laura-Michelle Kelly's West End roles include 'Belle' in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" and 'Swallow' in "Whistle Down the Wind". She is currently recording her first solo album with the BBC.

The cast of Les Miserables, will continue to include Hans Peter Janssens 'Jean Valjean', Michael McCarthy as 'Javert', Tony Timberlake as 'Thenardier', Jason McCann as 'Enjolras', Grania Renihan as 'Fantine' and Philippa Healey as 'Cosette'.

Les Miserables has been seen by over 45 million people worldwide in 30 countries and in 19 languages. The show is currently playing in New York, Tokyo, Budapest, Sao Paulo and is on tour in America.

There has also been 31 cast recordings of the show.

Les Miserables is based on the novel by Victor Hugo, has lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and music by Claude-Michel Schonberg with original text by Alain Boublil and additional material by James Fenton. It originally opened at the Barbican Theatre on 8th Oct 1985, before transferring to the Palace Theatre on 4th Ded 1985.
