Cast update for Vernon God Little at the Young Vic

Casting has been announced for Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre, in an adaptation by Tanya Ronder, opening at the Young Vic's Main House, 7 Feb 2011, following preview from 17 Jan - running to 5 March 2011.

Straight out of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, newcomer Joseph Drake makes his professional debut as the hapless Vernon. The cast also includes Luke Brady, Clare Burt, Daniel Cerqueira, Peter De Jersey, Johnnie Fiori, Lily James, Penny Layden, Nathan Osgood, Duncan Wisbey..

Directed by Rufus Norris, designed by Ian MacNeil, lighting by Paule Constable, costumes by Nicky Gillibrand.

It's Friday at the Sheriff's office. Vernon sits in his underpants, starring at his Nike's. His best friend Jesus went and killed all their classmates, then himself. Normal times just ran howling from town.
