Casting announced for Peter Pan at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre
Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Peter Pan at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, which opens in London in May.
The title role will be played by Fiston Barek, whose recent theatre credits include King Lear at the Old Vic, Truth and Reconciliation at the Royal Court and Love the Sinner at the National Theatre.
Captain Hook will be played by Dennis Herdman, who appeared in the recent UK tour of Around the World in 80 Days, The Lounge at Soho Theatre, and a number of Shakespeare's Globe productions such as The Winter's Tale, Pericles and The Oresteia.
Wendy, John and Micheal will be played by Cora Kirk (The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, West Yorkshire Playhouse), Theo Cowan (The Secret Garden, Theatre by the Lake) and Omari Douglas (Five Guys Named Moe).
Tinker Bell will be played by Elisa De Grey, and the cast also includes Sam Angell (Twin), Raphael Bushay (Nibs), Fred Davis (Twin), Caroline Deyga (Smee), Lewis Griffin (Tootles), Willy Hudson (Curly), Arthur Kyeyune (Pirate/Movement Associate), Kyle Lima (Starkey), Tim Preston (Slightly), Louis Quaye (Pirate), John Sandeman (Pirate/Fight Captain) and Ed Wade (Pirate).
The production, directed by the theatre's artistic director Timothy Sheader, will run at the Open Air Theatre from 17th May to 15th June.
Other productions in the latest Open Air Theatre season include As You Like It, The Turn of the Screw, and Little Shop of Horrors.
Peter Pan runs at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre from 17th May to 15th June.
