Channing Tatum will bring the stage adaptation of the Magic Mike films in which he starred to the West End this winter.

Magic Mike Live, which takes inspiration from Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL, is a large-scale production conceived and co-directed by Tatum, who played the titular stripper the 2012 film. The films are loosely based on Tatum's experiences as a stripper in Florida when he was 18.

Magic Mike Live will run at The Theatre at the Hippodrome Casino, which previously staged Miss Nightingale, from 10th November 2018 to 28th April 2019. Tickets will go on sale soon.

The production previously ran in Las Vegas, and incorporates an acrobatic male strip show in Magic Mike's Club Domina, which features a 360-degree stage allowing the audience to catch the action from all angles. The show was described as "the modern strip show we deserve" by USA Today.

Tatum made a surprise cameo appearance at the Britain's Got Talent final to launch the production.

Casting for the production is yet to be announced.

The production will be co-directed by Channing Tatum and Alison Faulk, with choreography by Alison Faulk, Teresa Espinosa and Luke Broadlick.

Magic Mike Live is at The Theatre at the Hippodrome Casino from 10th November 2018 to 28th April 2019.

Tickets are available from for official website.
