Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage has announced that performances will begin at the new Capital Theatre at Westfield London from 16 October 2026.

The show, which was originally due to open at the venue last month, was delayed due to planning and design issues, according to the venue's owners.

Housed within the west London shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush, the venue will hold 620 seats, set over 35,000 square feet. The auditorium has been designed and built by the team behind other major London venues such as The Bridge Theatre, @sohoplace, The Young Vic and the Kit Kat Club.

In a statement, the producers said: "We would again like to thank audiences for their patience during the construction of the theatre and can’t wait to welcome them to this thrilling new theatrical space to have the Time Of Their Lives."
